A BIT OF JACOBEAN HISTORY - The name "Jacobean" comes from James I of England (Latin: Jacobus), under whose reign this style of décor became popular - in the early 17th century! The pattern, which features strong Eastern (Indian) influences, was inspired by the ancient "Tree of Life" motif.
Pronounced - Ja-kuh-bee-uhn
