Hi, thanks for finding us and taking the time to see what we're all about

I'm Ellie the designer and creator of PalmAvenue Design 

PalmAvenue Design was born because I love to be creative and for a long time I have felt Australian made, quality, long lasting products have been hard to find.

We live in a fast fashion disposable society so I wanted to make things that are long lasting, I wanted to be creative and explore the colourful and texture filled world of fabrics by making things that are useful, beautiful and versatile with limited waste. 

Most of my days begin with some mindful meditation, often a morning walk along the beach or a sunrise yoga session. Its important to me to keep the positive energy flowing through me, into the sewing machine and into our products.

Currently I've been enjoying designing tote bags, clutch bags, yoga bolsters, cushions and my favourite The Roundie Bumster.

Each piece I make is filled with love and good vibes. Everything is handmade in Australia by PalmAvenue Design and designed by me to be exactly as you need it to be. Clever and thoughtful well made designs are what light me up and make me sparkle.

In addition to sewing my other love is to spend time outdoors. Having a deep connection to nature drives me to do what I can to look after our environment. Always thinking of ways to be as sustainable as possible and reuse or repurpose where ever it is practicable.

As a local business, PalmAvenue Design prides itself on purchasing remnants from large manufacturers. These remnants are not second hand or used, they are left over offcuts from much larger jobs that would otherwise go to landfill. Remnants that PalmAvenue Design can no longer use are then donated to a local preschool for the children to create with.

This is why PalmAvenue Design has the flexibility to create unique designs and why our fabrics change regularly.

So much love and care has gone into every one of our pieces so please know that with each creation you are bringing only positive energies and good vibes into your homes. I hope you love them as much as we do.

With everything we do at PalmAvenue Design we try to be thoughtful and considerate of the environment right down to our packaging and postage. We use recycled eco tissue paper, natural degradable twine, even our stickers and swing tags are made from recycled paper & If you see us at the markets please bring your own bags as we do not like to create additional waste.
